The Scarlet Book's scenarios had become familiar to Josh over time; out of all the scenarios the League's RKS Simulation had to offer, it was easily his favorite. It let him meet Koraidon, a Pokémon imposing as one of the gods, yet friendly as ever if they defeated the Apex one. After his victory lap with Andrea Vaneau , he couldn't get enough of wheeling across the Giant Chasm and Area Zero aboard the "legendary" paradox.

And today, he had a legendary steed to compare their speed with. He suspected that Koraidon was even faster than Raikou was. Today, he would find out... once he survived an eruption and whatever else the simulation had to throw at him. The Champion pulled his wild Cyclizar into a wheelie. "Where you leading us? Better decide quick!" he shouted over the wind, withdrawing his Type: Null and pointing at the pyroclastic flow headed their way. "Cause even I ain't outrunning that!"

Cyclizar were good mounts that turn into their motorcycle-like forms. Though it was a simulation from the League’s RKS, she would be able to compare the speed of those Pokemon compared to one of the Galarian horses. When she mounts onto the dragon type, it turns into its motorcycle like form as she watches the gym leader’s own take the head start in the race.[break][break]

“We’re going into a cave!” Elise shouts over the wind too while she directs her dragon mount to one of the nearby caves. The speed of her mount was comparable with how fast her Dragapult can go, a reminder that some dragon Pokemon were pretty fast when ridden on. Even her Garchomp could go really fast if Selece wanted to though Elise preferred to use her Dragapult to ride when she can.

Once Josh has confirmed that their destination was the cave, he ordered his borrowed mount to speed up. Drastically. "Alright, buddy, QUICK ATTACK!" the Master of Faster ordered. The wild dragon performed a wheelie, landing on both his air sacs and shredding the ground beneath him as they zoomed toward the entrance Elise pointed out.

Even with the added speed of the boosting move, the flow of molten rock gained on the duo, Josh only slamming on the brakes when he was inside the much cooler cave. They could not slow down enough before reaching the back of the tunnel, the Gym Leader and his mount smacking into the smooth cave wall with great speed. "Uuuuugh..." Josh moaned, quite shaken up from the impact. "You okay, Elise?"
